It all started three years ago. I walked into Kevin’s office requesting one of his colleagues, per a friends recommendation, but his colleague was not in the office that day (it was a Sunday), but Kevin was there working. After I requested his colleague, Kevin was very respectful of my request and offered to take my name and number to forward it to my friend’s referral, and Kevin gave me his colleague’s contact information, so I could contact him as well, making sure we connected timely.
However, after speaking with Kevin and I could see his loyalty to hiscolleague, to get me in contact with him. At that point, I knew that
I wanted to work with Kevin. Therefore, I told Kevin that I wanted to
work with him. Kevin was very insistent for me to work with his
colleague (most realtors would have taken me on as a client to get the business).
I told Kevin at least three times that I wanted to work with him.
After Kevin noticed that I was getting frustrated, because
I wanted to work with him, he agreed to show me real-estate ( I
realized that he thought I may walk, and then his entire office would
lose a sale). Only after I convinced Kevin that I never met his
colleague; that his colleague was just recommended to me, and that I
never even as so much shared any kind of communication with his
colleague, such as a phone call, email, or text, Kevin agreed. This
was seemly interesting to me about Kevin, his honestly and loyalty to his colleague. His kind behavior spoke volumes to me!
It all started there. On that particular Sunday afternoon (Sunday of
all days, Kevin was the only realtor in the office working, on a
holiday weekend too!), Kevin showed me a home that I wanted in badly to see. However, it was not for me and we continued to search for the right property (he never pressured me to buy and took much time showing me many properties).
For a few weeks, we search and found a home that was right for me. He negotiated at great deal (I was willing to pay more, but Kevin wanted me to hold back a day, because he wanted to get me a better deal, and he did). He could have allowed me to pay more since I was willing, therefore more commission for him, but he did not!
I went under contract and then I listed my current home with Kevin to sell. His attention to detail was super great. He had a keen insight
suggesting for me to do several things to help me stage my home better for my sale ( I thought I had already covered everything, but I missed a few important changes/additions). My house was under contract within one week, and I was closed/sold within three weeks.
The magic went on from there. I brought and sold 6 more homes over my three years working with Kevin.
At every road block, and there are always surprises when selling or buying, Kevin was able to “problem solve” within minutes, hours, or a day to remove the issue to allow my transaction to move forward towards closing. All of my sales and purchases were seamless and always concluded within 3-5 weeks (from start to finish, I know, hard to believe, but I have the paper work to prove it).
What I learned about Kevin, is he is not just a good, solid,
passionate realtor, he his a solid business man, well connected with all professionals in the business to reduce property listings and property purchases to closure.
I learned that Kevin is well respected with his realtor colleagues, whereas they constantly network with Kevin helping him sell his listings (from their buyers, I learned that these realtors like working with Kevin since he is “all buttoned up”).
And, when it comes to financing he has networked with some of the bestrespectable lenders (when selling my last home he was able to get my buyer to a lender who closed my deal, in three weeks, whereas my buyer had gone to three previous lenders with a “no go” on her loan).
I’m thrilled to write this review, I’m a believer in Kevin. I know, I
wrote a lot above, but below are the highlights on Kevin’s
abilities/work/skill sets. Oh, by the way, did I tell you that I’m a
difficult client………I always expect timely turnarounds at all times, on all issues, big or small!
Actually, I was shocked how kind and calm Kevin was always with me when I was not as always calm.
And, he always answered his phone!! So hard to experience today.
It’s all simple in my mind, but not really, for most realtors,
1) Kevin is Passionate (this is why he wins at real-estate – his heart
is in it)
2) Kevin is honest (hard to find today)
3) Kevin cares about getting you in the right property, or out of your
current property (you are just “not” another real-estate transaction)
4) Kevin is extremely connected with his realtor colleagues,
respectable lenders, respectable title companies, respectable
inspectors, and respectable appraisers, to fine the right fit for your
transaction (not an easy task)
5) Kevin has a superior work ethic (Not often found in Corporate America today)
I wish anyone who reads my post the best with your real-estate matters.
Sincerely,
Mario Orcini
